SPIRIT OF EUFAULA

Eufaula cheerleaders proved their talents by capturing the Class 3A state runner-up honors at the OSSAA state championship meet. Despite all the obstacles including quarantines and injuries, the Spirit of the Ironheads stayed strong to bring home the honors for a second straight year.

TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Eufaula senior Noah Alexander signed a national letter of intent to play college football with the Army Black Knights on scholarship to the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Congratulations to Noah along with teammates Tye Pippenger and Nick Jones on their selection to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Class 2A All-Star by class squad. The 2021 senior trio played key roles in the Ironheads winning three straight district championships.

BASKETBALL ROYALTY

Eufaula basketball celebrated Homecoming 2021 with the coronation of Lariah McNnatt and Nick Jones as basketball queen and king as the Ironheads put a winning touch to the event with a sweep of Henryetta on the basketball court. Members of the homecoming court include senior attendant Kylie Diaz escorted by Jacob Fitzer, junior attendant Addison McLaughlin escorted by Justis James and sophomore attendant Victoria Leflore escorted by Riley Morgan. Presenting the flowers to Queen Larian was flower girl Charley Duke while Joel Mullins served as crown bearer.

PRIDE OF EUFAULA EARNS HONORS

A combined total of 24 members of the high school band were recently named to Eastern Oklahoma Band Directors Association Honor Band. The outstanding musicians include Kailyn Willis, Cammian Magreevy, Sarah Brown, Tredon Curtis, Alexis Tootill, Abi Bell, Abi Charlton, Dasyn McIntosh, Andy Worley, Jake Berry, Destiny Jennings, Gabe Bell, Noah Alexander, Alexander Worley, Carys Brillo, Cayla Cow, Jace Berry, Robert Johnson, Christian Stevenson, Nicholas Bradford, Logan Johnson, Timothy Summers, Tucker Leathers and Willow Poling. #TraditionContinues
