Eufaula Ironheads: The Winning Tradition Continues – Presented by Bank of Eufaula
GRADUATION DAY
After a year of constant change, the Class of 2021 will enjoy “normalcy” again during graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 18th. Among the many achievements of this year’s seniors will be the recognition of Eufaula’s Top 10 including Alexander Worley as Valedictorian and Tye Pippenger as Salutatorian, Karli Wilkinson, Camryn Dalton, Isabella Pettit, Jacob Fitzer, Cayla Cox, Carson Atwood, Madison Lynn and Teighler Wolfe. Congratulations Class of 2021 – Once an Ironhead, Always an Ironhead.
21st IN 2021
Paced by musical talents and leadership skills of 12 seniors, the 65-member Pride of Eufaula band earned superior rankings at the OSSAA state band contest. With another “All 1s” performance, the band captured another OSSAA Sweepstakes award. Ironically, the 2021 Sweepstakes championship is the 21st honor for the school’s band program. Eufaula band is under the guidance of Rusty Helms.
HEARTLAND CHAMPS
Led by the medalist honors of Alex Parish, the Eufaula boys golf team captured the Heartland Conference team title. Three Ironheads were also among the top 10 on the tournament scoreboard including Justis James (4th), Briar Sweitzer (5th), and Riley Morgan (7th). Other varsity members include Slade Williams, Andrew Robinson and Jacob Parish. Eufaula will compete in the Class 3A state qualifier on April 26th at Fountainhead State Park.
The Lady Ironheads, runner-up in the conference tournament will play on their home course as Eufaula will host the Class 3A girls regional at Fountainhead.
Eufaula golfers are coached by Bill Bumgarner and Robert Nixon.
