BancFirst Wagoner 1125

BOYS Coach: Zack Ange 2019-20 Record: 19-7

With everyone returning from last year’s squad that finished a game shy of twenty wins the Bulldogs are hungry and ready to make a run to the State Tournament. The backcourt will lead the way for Wagoner and seventh year head coach Zack Ange including VYPE Top 100 picks Jacob Scroggins (6-4, Sr.) and Caden Pawpa (6-1, Sr.). Scroggins can score from anywhere on the floor and applies pressure to opposing defenses with the best defender guarding him from all areas of the court. Pawpa not only guarded the best player on the other team nearly every night but he led the Bulldogs in scoring as a junior. Sawyer Jones (6-4, Sr.) is a tough, gritty player at the forward spot who averaged eight points and seven rebounds last year. Bristo Love (6-2, Sr.) is a great ballhandler who has put in the work over the last three years especially during the offseason to be primed for a big year this season. Fellow senior Chase Nanni (6-3, Sr.) is a solid rebounder averaging seven boards as a junior. Two players who will bring energy to the hardwood are Jack Southern (5-10, Jr.) a scoring threat and Julian Smith (5-11, Sr.) a fantastic athlete. SOMETHING TO WATCH - Corbin Marsey (5-10, So.) is a skilled player that despite his youth will see major minutes of action on a talented team.
